Federal Ombudsman Ijaz Ahmad Qureshi has appointed Abdul Ghafoor Baig retired commissioner provincial government as Advisor in Regional Office Abbottabad for the people of Hazara and local advisor after oath has taken charge of the office.
Federal Ombudsman Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi has said that the jurisdiction of the Federal Ombudsman’s Office in Hazara Division has been extended to Hazara as complaints have been increasing day by day and to redress the complaints, Retired Commissioner of the Provincial Government Mr. Abdul Ghafoor Baig is appointed to the Regional Office of the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat as an advisor has been appointed in Abbottabad to provide uninterrupted and speedy justice to the people of Hazara division.
Abdul Ghafoor Baig took oath and took charge in the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat located opposite Government District Secretariat near to GPO Abbottabad Cantt. On this occasion, Abdul Ghafoor Baig said about the importance of the Federal Ombudsman’s Office that the Federal Ombudsman’s Office has come into existence under the Presidential Order of 1983, the main purpose of which is to redress the grievances against mismanagement in the Federal Ombudsman. He said that the complainant in this institution can register his complaint on a simple piece of paper on which immediate action is taken.
