Former AJK minister for transport and tourism, Tahir Khokhar has said that he fully supports the measures taken by the AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry AnwarulHaq for public welfare and good governance and said that the common man is getting relief from his measures.

Talking to the media after an important and detailed meeting with the AJK PM here on Tuesday, he said that protest was the right of the people and peaceful protest should be done to solve their problems, but the protest of March 31 should not be against the Prime Minister because he was trying to solve public problems.

TahirKhokhar said, “They are trying day and night. Due to their efforts, electricity prices are coming down. Mangala Dam victims’ long-standing issues with WAPDA authorities are being resolved. Rathu-ah-Hariyambridge was completed, steps taken to establish lakes in Muzaffarabad, austerity, administration and bureaucracy are the achievements of the Prime Minister.”

The AJK former minister said that he fully supports the Prime Minister’s actions. After a long time, Azad Kashmir has got a Prime Minister who wants to change the state in the real sense by abandoning the traditional style of governance. Some traditional politicians are upset with the Prime Minister’s actions on various public issues. —INP
