Mian Anjum Nisar President FPCCI and Sheikh Sultan Rehman Vice President FPCCI seeking feedback from Trade and Industry to find problems emerged out due to COVID-19. The FPCCI is trying to identify ways so that it would be able to support the business community effectively during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In this connection, the FPCCI has designed a comprehensive Survey Form which has been sent to trade and industry in order to get the insights on ground realities and issues that badly affected economic growth and trade of Pakistan.
The survey asks how the COVID-19 crisis has affected businesses in the country. Considering the impact of COVID-19 and along with contingency measures, what steps businesses have taken in reaction – e.g. with respect to business practices, workforce, organisational changes, supply chain (supply chain problems) and access to finance.
In addition, the survey also inquires if business/organization has taken any relief measures announced by government and how much satisfied they are with these incentives. Moreover, the survey also aims to know about the concerns if COVID-19 continues to spread over the span of next few months.
All information collected in the survey will be used only for policy analysis purposes. As soon as FPCCI receives feedback from concerned trade and businesses, policy recommendations will be prepared based on analytical examination of the survey.
