At least five people including a young woman were killed and another in various incidents in different localities of Swabi, police said on Wednesday. According to details, the first incident took place ion Mir Ali area Parmoli police station jurisdiction in Swabi where unidentified gunmen shot dead Tufail Ahmed s/o Sartaj unknown reasons and fled the scene.
After an exchange of hot words over cattle business, accused Fazal Karim, resident of Yar Hussain gunned down Imran and injured his brother Asadullah when he tried to stop him of firing. A 17-year-old student of 1st year identified as Hamza hailing from Charwai Nara Aamazai committed suicide by shooting him with pistol over unknown reasons.
In Ghulam area, 25-year-old young woman was scorched and later expired when gas cylinder exploded due to leakage.
Unknown armed men shot dead a youth Muhammad Awais 22, in Jalsai area and escaped the scene. The bodies were shifted to different hospital and police after registering separate cases in all incidents at concerned police stations have started investigations.
