FIA arrests accused of harassing woman

Accused of harassing a Pakistani national woman based in United Kingdom was arrested besides recovery of three cell phones from his possession here on Saturday.

The Cyber Crime Wing of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) detained the culprit from federal capital Islamabad for harassing the Pak-origin woman based in UK and sharing her objectionable photos on social media. Three cell phones possessed by the culprit were also recovered by FIA Cyber Crime.

Accused Mubeen was blackmailing the lady since 2020 through her objectionable photos. The detainee was being interrogated after registering a case against him under Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016.—NNI
