LAHORE – An International Driving License is not only serves as an identity document but also saves the holders from any legal action if they are found involved in any road accident in the foreign countries, including UAE.
The international driving licenses issued by the Lahore Traffic Police are also accepted by authorities in Dubai and other UAE states, allowing the Pakistani nationals drive light vehicles if they are on a tourist visa.
The license is issued to the Pakistanis travelling abroad in accordance with the Vienna Convention, 1968.
Citizens of Punjab province, who are planning to travel abroad especially Dubai in UAE, can get their international driving license by visiting the city traffic police offices or Police Khidmat Markaz across the province.
To get the international driving license, applicants are required to have valid national driving licenses and valid visa on their passports.

Valid Driving License of Lahore with a validity period of one year.
Original ID card
Valid Driving License.
Valid Passport.
Attested Copy of Passport (valid for at least 6 months with visa affixed of country to be visited)
International Driving License Fee for UAE in Lahore
The fee for international driving license in Lahore stands unchanged at Rs4,980 for Motor Car/Jeep, according to official website of City Traffic Police Lahore.
