Federal Secretary for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Ejaz Ahmed Jaffar visited Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) HQs, Lahore on Friday and attended a meeting. He was briefed by Dr Aamer Ahmed, Chairman ETPB on functions, performance of the department and the significant increase in revenues over the last one year. He was told that the Board revenue is in surplus i.e Rs. 600 million in year 2019-20 as compared to the previous two years. The investment has reached Rs. 5 billion. The Federal Secretary appreciated the role of Chairman ETPB and the steps taken to improve the performance of ETPB as well as for the welfare of the employees of the Board.
He supported Chairman point of view to impart necessary training to employees as per the requirements of modern times. He urged the Board employees to mend their ways and work for the betterment of ETPB and requested Chairman to purge the department from blacksheeps.
