FBR to file 8 references against Omni Group

After NAB and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to file at least 8 references against the Omni Group of Anwar Majeed.
According to sources, the FBR has in this context finalised references against unnamed properties of Omni Groups situated in Karachi’s Saddar, Clifton and Cantt. Station areas. In the references, Anwar Majeed, Younus Kidwai, Omni Group’s Chief Financial Officer Aslam Masood have been listed to be investigated. In addition, the FBR has also finalised references against Thatta Cement and Summit Bank shares which were in millions and in this context, sons of Anwar Majeed are shortlisted to be investigated on.
