ISLAMABAD – Former Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry predicted that the present government could hardly survive till May.
“There is no room for questions; the governments don’t always last for five years. Besides Modi’s government and Imran Ali’s role, nobody acknowledges the current government,” said Fawad Chaudhary while speaking informally with the journalists in a courtroom on Saturday.
He said that the political role of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is crucial, and it played an important role in the formation of Pakistan. Removing the current government will be crucial for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“If Maulana Fazlur Rehman decides on a long march, the government will be ousted,” he added.
The former minister also stated that Shahbaz Sharif’s statement for reconciliation is good but it’s still hypocrisy.
He said, “Release the thousands of workers first, then talk about reconciliation,”.
Fawad Chaudhary said that this government is essentially like PDM-2, so despite a new government, the country’s situation will not change, pointing out that Pakistan’s people are on one side and the government is on the other.
“Until Imran Khan and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf are not included, there won’t be any improvement,” he said.
He further stated that they were scared since the day Imran Khan said Article 6 would be applied to the Election Commission.
Fawad Chaudhary said, “The legislation for Form 45 was initiated by Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, and Imran Khan has ensured importance of Form 45,”.
Fawad Chaudhry went on to say that the entire world raised questions about the elections worldwide including Australia, America, and Britain.
Like the elections during Ayub Khan’s era in 1965, these elections would.also be remembered, he added.
