ISLAMABAD – A new Loan Program lets government officers borrow millions at a very low rate of 2 percent.
The move aims to financially aid officers of the Pakistan Administrative Services (PAS) and Provincial Management Service (PMS). The scheme offers loans at minimal interest rate of mere 2oc, ensuring affordability for those in need of financial assistance.
Finance Secretary Mujahid Sherdil led committee that was established to oversee implementation of program. Under the initiative, loan limits are determined by officer’s grade.
Loan for Govt Officers

The loans will be repaid in easy installments, making the program more accessible and manageable for officers across different levels.
The low markup loan initiative aims to provide significant financial support, promoting convenience and relief for officers serving in various capacities within the government.
