In a surprising turn of events, Haji Muhammad Akram Khan, former City President of Major Group P and longtime Municipal Councilor, announced his departure from a 30-year friendship with Major Tahir Sadaq to join the ranks of the Pakistan Muslim League (N). This significant political shift is expected to have a considerable impact on the upcoming general elections, with the Muslim League (N) poised to secure a substantial victory.
Addressing a gathering at an inclusion corner meeting, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, former federal minister of the Muslim League (N) and candidate for Constituency NA-49, expressed his gratitude for Haji Muhammad Akram Khan’s decision to join the party. Sheikh Aftab Ahmed confidently predicted that under the leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the Muslim League (N) would clinch a significant majority in the elections, paving the way for Nawaz Sharif to become the Prime Minister once again.
Highlighting the future vision for Attock, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed emphasized the completion of development projects initiated during the Muslim Leagues tenure, transforming the city into a developed and modern urban center. Acknowledging the contributions of his team workers, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed outlined his top priority – resolving the longstanding traffic problems in Attock by constructing a much-needed ring road.
During the meeting, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed also announced the addition of Haji Muhammad Akram Khan to the party, citing his extensive political experience and expressing confidence in his guidance. Haji Muhammad Akram Khan, in turn, expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome into the Muslim League (N) fold.
