Shopkeepers and vendors occupied 110 feet wide Lahore-Sargodha Road in Sukheke Mandi town which caused traffic mess on the road for hours as a result of which, not only passing of vehicles but passing of pedestrian particularly for women, female students and old people also has difficult.
According to residents of the locality including Nadim Arif and Munir Ahmad, some shopkeepers are receiving rent from venders for standing them in front of their shops on the road. Which caused traffic mess on the road for hours while officers of Municipal Committee, traffic police and district administration are over sighting this difficulty of the people mysteriously.
They demanded the Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Sundas Irshad, Commissioner Gujranwala Naveed Haider Sharazi and the Chief Minister of the Punjab Mohsin Naqvi to take action against encroachers under the vision of Mohsin Speed for providing relief to travelers passing through Lahore-Sargodha Road in Sukheki Mandi town as well as pedestrians.
