Agriculture Department, under the direction of Minister Sardar Muhammad BuxMahar, has established a Water Emergency Cell in Hyderabad to assist farmers.

The Sukkur Barrage, which irrigates around 70% of Sindh’s agricultural land, is critical to the region’s farming operations. To address water scarcity, crop damage, and related issues, focal persons have been appointed across all six divisions of Sindh.

A total of 32 focal persons will report on various concerns and provide guidance.

Farmers can reach out to the Water Emergency Cell’s focal person, RasoolBuxKhaskheli, at 0229200968 for assistance.

Focal persons have been assigned for each division, including Lower Sindh, Upper Sindh, Hyderabad, ShaheedBenazirabad, Karachi, Larkana, and MirpurKhas, ensuring comprehensive coverage and support for the affected agricultural community.
