Educated women pivotal for country uplift: Ashraf

Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that country’s development is interlinked with provision of modern education to women.

He added, “it has been the prime priority of incumbent government to provide modern facilities to women for easy access to higher education.” He expressed these views while visiting Associate Degree College for Women, Manghot Gujar Khan. Speaker National Assembly said that being public representatives, providing education and basic health facilities to the people of Gujar Khan has been his chief goal. He also expressed his resolve that GujarKhan will be the hub of education as Potohar Campus Gujar Khan Rawalpindi will usher in new era of education revolution in Gujar khan. He said that the Parliament is committed to to legislate for provision of best education and health facilities to the people. He said hat the country is on the path of development and the time is not far when the current government will be able to overcome the present. Speaker National Assembly said that the problems of shortage of teachers faced by the college would be resolved .He also issued instruction to the concerned departments for immediate solution of gas and electricity problems faced by the Girls Degree College and other infrastructural issues.
