Election Commission of Pakistan on Saturday clarified that it never said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf foreign funding case would be closed in fifteen days but it only said that the case would be heard on daily basis.
Federal Minister Shafqat Mehmood earlier said it is amazing that foreign funding case would end in 15 days and demanded that scrutiny of all parties should be held.
On the other hand Chief Election Commission wrote a letter to the secretary parliamentary matters to inform him that his constitutional term would expire on December 6.
