Pakistan’s federal capital Islamabad and its neighbouring regions experienced a sudden jolt on Saturday as earthquake tremors sent shockwaves.
Islamabad Earthquake
In an update, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said a 4.9 magnitude earthquake has been reported in capital and its surrounding areas.
Met Office said the seismic activity was reported around 142 kms with its epicentre being the Hindu Kush region.
Earthquakes was also felt in Peshawar, Swat, Chitral, Lower Di and their surrounding areas.
