Chairman Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Mr Jawed Salim Qureshi carried out earthbreaking of national level Tunneling Institute of Pakistan, conceptualised by FWO at Islamabad.
Engineer-in-Chief Lieutenant General Moazzam Ejaz, HI(M), Director General FWO and officers from both PEC and FWO graced the occasion with their presence. This institute is contemplated to serve as a foundation in the fields of tunneling, aerial surveying and Building Information Modeling in the country. The building is likely to be completed by June 2021.
