Dutch company set to establish dairy excellence centre in Pakistan

The Dutch Investment Company is set to establish state-of-the-art Pakistan-Netherlands Dairy Excel-lence Centre. In this regard, President Roel Neerbos and CEO Hein Schumacher of Friesland Campina along with a delegation visited the Board of Invest-ment (BOI), WealthPK reported.

An agreement has been inked between the Univer-sity of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore and Friesland Campina in the presence of BOI officials. The centre will be established in two phases with an investment of PKR750 million. The centre will be established in Lahore for produc-tion of cheese. The expected production of cheese will be 2.24 million grams annually.
