The police arrested 28 outlaws including drug pushers, recovered narcotics and weapons during separate actions in different areas of the city during 24 hours, City Police spokesman said on Saturday. He said that the police launched crackdowns against outlaws in jurisdictions of various police stations of Faisalabad city.
During separate actions, the police arrested nine drug peddlers, five accused of display of arms, motorist having fake number plate, one under fireworks act, a man involved in over speeding and 11 gamblers, the spokesman added.
The police recovered narcotics, illegal weapons, gambling tools and stake money from possession of the detainees who were being investigated after registering separate cases against them.
