Role of Muslim Ulemas and Mashaykh for unity of Muslim Ummah is very effective and imperative, said Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani.
A delegation of Pakistan Ulema Council in heading of Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi called on Chairman Senate of Pakistan Sadiq Sanjrani here on Wednesday. The senate Chairman stressed for effective role of Ulemas and Mashaykh for unity of Muslim Ummah adding that entire Muslim world should raise voice unitedly for the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine. He also condemned prevailing drone strikes of Houthi rebel tribes of Yemen at oil sites in eastern parts of Saudia Arabia.
The senate Chairman also added that teachings of Quran-o-Sunnah stressed for peace and harmony in the society adding that Government of Pakistan is willing and determined to ensure protection of minorities rights residing in Pakistan.
He stated that Muslim world should raise voice with unity for the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine. Saudi Arabia is custodian of the holy places of Islam and Muslims and any attack at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be considered as an attack at Muslim world. OIC and UN should took immediate action against Houthi rebels responsible for missile strikes at oil sites in Saudi Arabia. Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani also lauded role of Pakistan Ulema Council for peace and harmony in the country. Speaking on this occasion, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council resolved that Pakistan Ulema Council is willing to raise voice for the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine at every forum in the world. He stated that 46 days have passed since blockade of Kashmir by Indian forces adding that on other side Israel has announced to annex Jordan Valley into Israeli territory. He also said that Pakistan will unite the entire Muslim Ummah to resolve confronting challenges of Muslim Ummah. He also added that Pakistan and people of Pakistan are willing to lay any sacrifice for defense and security of Harmain Al Sharifain.
Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council was also flanked by other office bearers of Pakistan Ulema Council including Maulana Nauman Hashir, Maulana Zubair Zahid, Maulana Ashfaq Patafi, Maulana Aseedur Rehman, Maulana Qasim Qasmi and others.
