Renowned Islamic scholar Dr Zakir Naik, currently visiting Pakistan, visited the residence of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman, where the two discussed matters of religious unity and global challenges facing the Muslim community on Tuesday.
Dr Naik was accompanied by his son, Tariq Naik.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman warmly welcomed Dr Naik alongside a high-level delegation. During the meeting, Fazl praised Dr Naik’s contributions to defending Islam, particularly in answering complex questions regarding the faith.
“You have graced our home with your presence,” Fazl said, adding that Dr Naik’s visit would bring further blessings to his mission. He commended Dr Naik’s style of addressing religious queries, stating, “The way Dr Naik answers questions is a defence of the Muslim Ummah.”
The JUI-F chief further acknowledged that many have been inspired and embraced Islam through Dr Naik’s preaching.
