Secretary General Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari said that his party has decided to raise the matter of doling out 228 billion rupees under the presidential ordinance of the Gas Infrastructure Development in the Parliament, Senate and the provincial assemblies as well. In a statement on Tuesday, Syed Nayyar Bukhari said that the doling out of such a large amount from taxes is concerning. Big institutions have been subsidized while the poor people are being crushed under this burden, he added. He said that the nation wants to know as to why the PTI government is subsidizing big institutions instead of gas, electricity and daily items in order to give the people some relief.—INP
