A welfare organization Diya Pakistan will provide scholarships to 100 students of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
According to the spokesman of the university Shahzad Ahmad, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard was signed in Islamabad by Vice-Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr Prof Dr Athar Mahboob and President Diya Pakistan Brig (retd) Aftab Ahmad.
Director of Financial Assistance at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Dr Ghulam Hassan Abbasi was also present on the occasion.
He said that the provision of scholarships by Diya Pakistan was commendable and assured that the number of scholarships would be gradually increased.
