Dengue Virus is posing life threats over more than ten thousand people along the inter provincial bordering territory of Gondal Mandi district Attock due to inordinate delay in fumigation and spray following the directives of the deputy commissioner Attock Rao Atif Raza.
The socio-political figures of the area include Qazi Badar Manzoor Numardar, Joint Secretary Pakistan Medical Association Attock Dr. Sheikh Inam Rabani, PTI Vice Chairmen Tehsil Attock Qazi Nazim Waqar, former naib tehsildar Malik Abdul Rashid and PML-N ex-general councilor Mr. Fiaz Ahmed Awan while talking to media have said that the sewerage system was chocked by land grabbers near causeway of Hazro Gondal road, Nullah, Chail, illegal car washing decks along the grave yard, dilapidated building of rural health centre piled up filth are nurseries of the dengue larva, mosquitoes and other dangerous germs posing a serious life threats to the people.
They further said that the socio-development status o the area could be ameliorated if the Punjab Government incurred one percent as it was earning more than Rs.500 million income per annum from the business community of Gondal Mandi. They said that this position have also being shared with the Commissioner Rawalpindi Mr. Liaquat Ali Chatta and DC Attock Rao Atif Raza but nothing could be heard till to date. They demanded of the Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mr. Mohsin Naqvi to take immediate notice of alarming situation saving the innocent lives from the diseases.
