Good news for the people of Sheikhupura as Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Asghar Joya has ordered placement of boxes in mosques so that locals could submit their complaints to the district administration.
The district administration and DPO Ghulam Mubashir Mekan would be bound to address the complaint within 24 hours after receiving it. Talking to the faithful after offering prayers, the DC said solving people’s problems was his top priority. He added a committee had been constituted in order to ensure swift action on people’s complaints, and that he would himself oversee it.
