The International Day of Education 2022 will be observed at the National Skills University Islamabad (NSU) on Monday 24th January from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This day has been celebrated annually by the United Nations (UN) since 2019. Aligning with this year’s theme, “Changing Course, Transforming Education,” scholars, vice chancellors, professors, experts, and students will share their vision about the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic has brought.

Moreover, this meeting will also debate the role of emerging technologies and their assimilation/adaptation in education.

According to the Vice Chancellor, NSU, skills education aligning with emerging technologies is the world’s future. As such, higher education institutes and education systems, in general, must be highly dynamic to assimilate and adapt to new academic landscape realities.

While celebrating this day, the NSU Vice Chancellor disclosed that NSU, alongside other technology institutes across the globe, are jointly working to identify future pedagogical practices for vocational education.
