Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar visited Mandi Bahauddin and inaugurated Monsoon plantation drive with launching a plant in the lawn of the DC Office. Commissioner Gujranwala division Syed Gulzar Hussain Shah, DC Mehtab Waseem Azhar, MNA Haji Imtiaz Chaudhry, DPO Nasir Sial, Major Zulfiqar Gondal, former MNA Ijaz Chaudhry, and Focal Person Corona Tiger Force Zahoor Gondal, ACs of all three sub-divisions, CEO Health Doc Ilyas Gondal CEO Education Saif Dhillon and the heads of the other district government department were present.
Speaking on the occasion Usman Dar emphasized the importance of forests for the development of the country and averting effects of climate change. At King Road Tri Junction, he distributed masks among the public. Later he addressed a gathering of members of the corona tiger force at a marriage hall. He praised the performance of the tiger force for their hard and dedicated work during the COVID-19 threat and distribution of relief goods including food items among the persons rendered destitute due to lockdowns.
He said in the second phase of Youth Development Program one thousand million rupees had been marked for youth development whereas five hundred million will be allocated for female youth. He said the spirit and enthusiasm shown by the tiger force since its induction has been surprisingly excellent that had impacted nerves of the opposition and its ranting about raising task force failed. He said tiger force achievements are not only praised worthy but also deserve homage and tributes from the nation.
