Culture dept helps drum artist of Rs. 2 lac

On the instructions of the Punjab Chief Minister, Punjab Culture Minister Khayal Ahmed Kastro visited drum artist Pappu Sain at the hospital PKLl. The provincial culture minister presented a cheque of Rs 2 lakh to Pappu Sain.

Internationally renowned drum artist Pappu Sain is undergoing treatment at PKLI after being diagnosed with liver cancer.

On the occasion, the Culture Minister said that instructions have been issued to the Health Department for better care of Pappu Sain. Pappu Sai interpreted Punjabi culture internationally with the beat of a drum.

He further said that Pappu Sain is our asset. We pray to Allah Almighty for the early recovery of ill artist, minister concluded.
