The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed on Tuesday to have arrested two terrorists — Abdul Razzak and Sanaullah allegedly involved inAnarkali bomb blast that killed three people.
Law enforcement personnel have recovered IEDs, detonators, remote control batteries from the terrorists’ procession. Both terrorists were sent to Lahore from Balochistan for carrying out the terrorist activities. The arrested terrorists attacked railway stations and law enforcement agencies in the past also.
Both were prime terrorists involved in the Anarkali blast that rocked the city on Jan 20 this year. The then Police officials said that an improvised explosive device (IED) was used in the blast that left shattered windows of nearby shops and buildings.
