Accountability court on Tuesday has reserved verdict on Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Faryal Talpur’s petition seeking restoration of her bank accounts that will be announced on March 20. During the hearing, the plaintiff’s lawyer Farooq H. Naek stated that freezing bank accounts before the approval of inquiry is against the law over which, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor assured that the accounts were seized as per designated rules. The claimant’s counsel further requested the court to unfreeze bank accounts of Faryal Talpur. Subsequently, the court has reserved the decision and adjourned the hearing. — INP
