On Thursday, a policeman was martyred performing security duty at NADRA office by unknown persons in Tank district.
According to eyewitnesses, two armed men entered the NADRA office on Station Road in Tank and fired indiscriminately at the security personnel.
As a result of the firing, police constable Waris Shah was martyred on the spot, a girl was also injured as a result of the firing.
After the incident, the body of the martyred official was shifted to Civil Hospital Tank. It should be noted that there has been an increase in attacks on the police force in Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this month.
