Commonwealth Secretary-General, Patricia Scotland KC arrived here in the early hours of Sunday on her first official visit to Pakistan, at the invitation of the Government of Pakistan.
On her arrival at Islamabad Airport, she was received by Additional Foreign Secretary (Europe) Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan. “Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Patricia Scotland has arrived in Islamabad,” a statement issued by the Spokesperson of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said Sunday. “She was welcomed by Additional Foreign Secretary (Europe) Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan at the Islamabad Airport,” the Foreign Office said.
