Commissioner Muhammad Iqbal Memon has directed central district administration officers to resolve civic issues of people and monitor the issues on daily bases for the resolution with the coordination of the concerned departments.
While visiting the district central office, the commissioner chaired a meeting with the Deputy Commissioner Talha Saleem, Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Wasimudding and all Assistant Commissioners.
Officials of the department of SBCA and health department were coordinating the work of anti-polio and other immunization programmes.
His visit to the different districts of the city was to make decisions for the resolution of civic issues and to bring improvement in the people’s lives.
Deputy Commissioner Central Talha Saleeem made a detailed presentation to the Commissioner highlighting the issues of the district including the progress of anti-encroachment drive, price control campaign, drive for the elimination of polio and dengue.
It was decided in the meeting that a coordinated effort would be made to ensure that after removal of the encroachment encroachers don’t return to that land again for encroachment which were vacated by the administration.
In this regard the Commissioner asked the Deputy Commissioner to send the cases of the encroachment to the Anti-Encroachment Tribunal.
It was also decided that the barcode would be included in the receipt of challan payment against the violators of prices fixed by the administration.
