All Sindh CNG Association and All Karachi Transport Alliance announced a protest on Wednesday at Sui Southern Gas Company’s office against constant gas shortage across Sindh.
The stalwarts of both the entities said that Sindh supplies 70 percent of the gas to the entire country. However, the supply of gas to Sindh CNG stations has been suspended by Sui Southern Gas Company, which is a clear violation of the country’s constitution.
They said the SSGC officials promise to open gas in the morning and takes the U-turn. On the occasion, President of All Karachi Transporters Alliance, Irshad Bukhari said that the transport which has been shifted to gas is the worst affected. He added that the government should ensure the supply of gas across Sindh as soon as possible.
