CM seeks report about death of girl in Lodhran

Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz has sought a report from the secretary health about the death of a girl due to alleged negligence of doctors in Lod-hran. According detail chief minister directed that a comprehensive inquiry should be held for taking legal action against those responsible for negli-gence.

The chief minister also ex-tended sympathies to heirs and made it clear thatno negligence would be tole-rated in the treatment of patients in hospitals.

It is pertinent to mention here that one and a half year old girl passed away last night at District Headquarters Hospital Lodhran.

The father of the deceased girl had claimed that his daughter died due to alleged negligence of the doctors.

Meanwhile Chief Minister Punjab Hamza Shahbaz actively supervised provincial affairs during the eid holi-days and Qatar visit.

He instructed the Rawalpindi commissioner and RPO to restore the smooth flow of traffic to Murree and restriction on entry of ve-hicular traffic, exceeding the fixed numbers, be enforced.

Additional staff be posted to restore traffic flow along with guiding the visitors through elec-tronic and social media platforms, he said. Similarly, the information desk and control room be set up to guide the travellers and duties be performed dili-gently, he said and concluded that he should be kept continuously in-formed.

Chief Minister Punjab Hamza Shahbaz has directed the administra-tion to ensure the availability of differ-ent facilities to the tourists at different tourist spots and made it clear that overcharging would not be tolerated.

While issuing instructions from Qatar, the CM asked the provincial administration to take indiscriminate action against those selling substandard food items and involved in over-charging.

Action would be initiated against the concerned administration if a complaint is received from any city; he said and reiterated that the adminis-tration should take out of the box steps along with ensuring smooth flow of traffic. Meanwhile

Chief expressed a deep sense of sorrow over the death of two boys due to drowning in Head Trimmu Jhang and extended sympathies to their heirs. Meanwhile, the administration has handed over death bodies to their heirs.
