Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has urged all provinces to collaborate for the nation’s progress, emphasizing that national development should take precedence over political rivalries. “Think about the country’s progress first, not about sending someone to jail,” he said while addressing the media after inaugurating the New C-ARTS Unit in Sukkur. Commenting on PTI’s civil disobedience call, Shah stated, “I am focused on my work and paying attention to the issues at hand.

All four provinces must work together for the betterment of the country.” The CM announced the relocation of the Anti-Encroachment Court from the Autism Centre to a more appropriate venue. “If necessary, even the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner should vacate their offices to accommodate the court, but the building where the courts are housed is meant for children with autism,” he asserted.

On addressing employment for disabled persons, Shah reaffirmed that any improper appointments would be corrected, and strict measures would follow upon receiving complaints. Regarding water disputes, he revealed that canal-related issues are under review by the Council of Common Interests (CCI), clarifying that no new work is currently underway on the canals.

The chief minister also highlighted the adherence to merit in recruitment processes. Referring to viral job-related social media clips, he said, “I have seen videos of people lining up for jobs, but merit is being upheld in all cases.” He paid homage to the late journalist Jan Muhammad, stating, “We have not forgotten and will never forget the sacrifice of Shaheed Jan Muhammad.”

On the law and order situation in Katcha areas, Shah praised the success of ongoing operations, reporting the neutralization of several dacoits. “I have directed that cleared areas be developed with roads, hospitals, and schools to benefit the local population,” he added.
