Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Khan on Monday paid surprise visits to various places including Tehsildar, Registrar offices, police station and suspended two Patwaris on the complaints of people.
Chief Minister who drove without any security protocol visited Tehsildar city office and inspected the service delivery center, Registrar’s Office, and other offices to review facilities and other services.
He expressed dissatisfaction over services being provided at the service delivery center. On this occasion, the Chief Minister met with clients and informed them about their issues and solution to their problems. He also sought a report from the Deputy Commissioner over the poor condition of Tehsildar and Registrar offices.
On the complaints of people, Chief Minister suspended two Patwaris for delay tactics in the transfer of lands and issuance of fards. He directed Deputy Commissioner to conduct an inquiry against the concerned registrar and submit a report In this regard.
Chief Minister directed to open Bank of Khyber branches in all service delivery centers across the province to facilitate people. He directed to hold a special meeting of senior member Board of Revenue and the district administrations to further improve services and facilities at the service delivery centers.
Chief Minister Mahmood Khan also paid a surprise visit to Khan Raziq Shaheed Police Station, Qissa Khawani, and expressed displeasure over the cleanliness situation in the police station. A report on the dilapidated condition of the police station was sought from the CCPO within three days. The Chief Minister also visited Khyber bazaar, Qissa Khawani Bazaar, Chowk Yadgar, and other areas and expressed dissatisfaction over the traffic congestions and sanitation and sought a report from Secretary Local Government Department and SSP Traffic on the chaotic traffic situation.
People expressed pleasure to find Chief Minister among themselves and informed him about their other issues. Meanwhile Mahmood Khan announced monthly stipend and job on daily wages to a youth amputated from both hands.
The boy disabled from both hands met Cheif Minister when he was on visit to Qissa Khawani Bazaar without any security protocol. The boy requested financial assistance and job from the provincial government. Chief Minister Mahmood Khan took him Chief Minister’s House as his guest. Chief Minister also promised to give him a permanent job.
