Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi paid a visit to the Provincial Headquarters of the Elite Police Force Punjab and the Punjab Highway Patrolling Police.
CM inspected the Elite Police Force Officers Block, Punjab Highway Police Patrolling Officers Block and other sections. Mohsin Naqvi visited the Control Room of the Punjab Highway Patrolling Police and monitored the Highway Patrolling System from the Control Room. He met with the police officers and directed them to perform their duties with a great amount of dedication and in a professional manner. CM apprised that a crackdown being launched against those driving their vehicles and motorcycles without a licence is ongoing adding that every possible step is being undertaken with regard to ensuring the road safety.
The Patrolling Police has to take a lead regarding the road safety. Mohsin Naqvi also visited the cafeteria of the Punjab Highway Patrolling Police and lauded its quality. IG Police Doctor Usman Anwar and additional IG Punjab Highway Patrolling Police gave a briefing about the Control Room. IG Police, Secretary C&W, CCPO, Additional IG Elite Force, Additional IG Punjab Highway Patrolling Police, DIG Elite, DIG Punjab Highway Patrolling Police and concerned officials were also present on the occasion.
Moreover, Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has expressed his deep sense of sorrow and grief over the death of six persons of the same family in a traffic accident near Muridke. CM has expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolence with the heirs of the deceased persons.
Mohsin Naqvi stated that he is profoundly grieved over the demise of six persons of the same family in a tragic incident. CM directed the administration to provide best treatment facilities to the injured adding that a legal action should be proceeded against the driver responsible for committing the accident.
