Buzdar says PTI to respond undemocratic moves with public service

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar on Tuesday discussed prevailing political situation in the country, government affairs and PM’s Lahore visit during a meeting at Governor’s House.

On the occasion, CM Usman Buzdar said that the government will responds to undemocratic moves of the opposition with unprecedented public service, adding that uniform development is being carried out rural and urban areas across the province.

“The Punjab government believes in practical steps instead of hollow claims and has launched public welfare projects across the province, which will usher in a new era of prosperity upon completion.”

The chief minister regretted that the political opponents had ignored the backward areas of the province and utilised the funds meant for development of the rural areas in the areas of their choice.

He claimed that the PTI government has given due to right to people of backward and far-flung areas and they will be developed on a par with the urban areas.

The chief minister also lauded the role of Governor Ch Sarwar and his sagacity to settle various public issues.

During the meeting, it was decided to expedite steps to provide clean drinking water to populace of the province.

Chaudhry Sarwar praised steps taken by the provincial government in the health and education sector. The governor said that future of political opponents in bleak so they will only issues protest calls until 2023.

Expressing gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar for his full cooperation in the projects of Punjab Aab-e-Pak authority, Chaudhry Sarwar said that work on 1,500 projects in Punjab is in full swing without any political distinction and all these projects will be completed by December 2021.

He said that with the completion of these projects clean drinking water to more than 8 million people of Punjab will be provided and our promise to provide clean drinking water to the people of Punjab will be fulfilled.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar sought a report from RPO DG Khan about an incident of injuring of a woman and her two daughters in the precinct of PS Rohailanwala in Muzaffargarh.

He directed that the accused be arrested at the earliest while giving the best medical facilities to the injured. The police have registered the case and raids are being conducted for the arrest of the accused.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar listened to the problems of different delegations belonging to DG Khan and other cities and directed for early resolution of their problems.

Talking to them, the CM reiterated that he strives to resolve the problems of the general public and is also visiting different cities and towns to help solve public issues at their doorstep.

The past government meted out a step-motherly treatment with the backward districts as the personal projection was their only agenda; he regretted and asserted that the incumbent government believes in performance and service-delivery instead of personal projection.

Huge resources are given to backward and remote districts because development and prosperity is the equal right of every citizen, he stated.
