Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has ordered timely drainage of rainwater from low-lying areas due to incessant rains in different cities of the province.
In a statement issued on Friday, the CM said prompt steps should be taken by WASA and field Administration for drainage in minimum time.
Necessary resources should be utilized and officials should go out in the field, instead of sitting in their offices, to facilitate the citizens. Similarly, effective arrangements should also be made to keep the traffic flowing during the rains, concluded the CM.
On the other hand Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar attended the swearing-in ceremony of Hamid Yar Hiraj at the Governor House.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar administered oath to Hamid Yar Hiraj. The CM congratulated Hamid Yar Hiraj and expressed his best wishes. It is hoped that the Provincial Minister Hamid Yar Hiraj would discharge his responsibilities efficiently, he added.
Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said PTI’s stance on foreign funding has proved valid after surfacing facts and Allah Almighty has succeeded Prime Minister Imran Khan in this case. In another statement issued CM said the nation is now waiting for the facts of foreign funding related to PPP and PML-N to be brought to the fore.
Everything is crystal clear in the foreign funding case because the truth always prevails, he said. Opposition fell into a well dug for PTI in the foreign funding case. The honesty and truthfulness of PM Imran Khan are above board and time has proved that he is the real leader, concluded the CM.
