ISLAMABAD- A special court will indict former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in the cipher case on December 12.
Judge Abdul Hasnat Zulqarnain heard the case at Adiala Jail.
Both the former PTI Chairman and Shah Mahmood Qureshi were present in the courtroom during the hearing.
The court distributed charge sheets among the accused, and the upcoming hearing is expected to formalize the indictment, with new charges being framed against the former Prime Minister and ex-Foreign Minister in connection to the Cipher Case.
The court emphasized that it is under the High Court’s directive to complete the trial within one month.

Following this, the court scheduled the next hearing for the indictment of the former PTI Chairman and Shah Mahmood Qureshi on December 12.
It is essential to recall that the Ministry of Interior had previously issued a notification, initiating the jail trial proceedings against the former Prime Minister, Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, and the former Foreign Minister in the Cipher Case.
