Chinese citizens robbed of cash

Dacoits looted Chinese citizens in Chung area of Lahore on Monday. According to reports, Zoodi Pang, Jaing and Kun were going from their residence in Bahria Town to Sundar Industrial Estate in a car when all of sudden a gang of six robbers intercepted them, forced them to stop their car at gunpoint, and made away with the Chinese currency notes of 1,000 as well as Rs5,000.

Police said that the robbers also snatched a rifle from the guard of the Chinese nationals.

The Force claimed that its personnel rushed to the crime scene the moment they learnt about the incident, but failed to get hold of the dacoits who managed to flee from the spot.

Meanwhile taking notice of the incident, CCPO Lahore Fayyaz Ahmad has sought report from the DIG Operations.
