6 FIRs registered on violation

On the direction of Provincial Minister for Food and Energy, Sardar Hasnain Bahadur Dreeshak, Cane Commissioner Punjab Hussain Bahadur inspected various mills to monitor beginning of the crushing season.

In his visit 6 FIRs being registered against mills of Patuki, Bhakar, Bahawalnagar, Shakargarh, Okara and Jhang on the violation of Clause No. 8 of the Amendment Act 2021.

On this occasion, Cane Commissioner Punjab said that according to the clear instructions of the Punjab government, the crushing season has been officially started from November 25 and strict action will be taken against violation.

Action against the mafia will be ensured while protecting the interests of the farmers.

The Punjab government will not accept the exploitation of the farmers in any case.
