KARACHI – Bushra Iqbal, former wife of late Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain, on Monday dedicated her educational success to her former husband.
Bushra Iqbal obtained Ph.D. degree in Quran and Sunnah from the University of Karachi two years ago. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the University of Karachi did not hold a convocation for students, and the Vice-Chancellor had handed over the documents to all students without a ceremony.
Now, two years later, the University of Karachi organized a convocation ceremony for students’ morale-boosting, during which Bushra Iqbal, along with other students, was honored with the Ph.D. degree.
Taking to Instagram, Bushra Iqbal shared her distinction and dedicated her degree to her former husband.
Bushra Iqbal said, “Alhamdulillah! Today, I formally received my Ph.D. degree in Holy Quran and Sunnah from the Vice-Chancellor of Karachi University Mr. Khalid Iraqi.”.
She said, “I dedicate this degree to my beloved late parents and my former husband, the late Aamir Liaquat Hussain, who always supported me and encouraged me,”.
Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain divorced his first wife, Dr. Bushra, in the year 2020.
