A fight broke out between a security guard and a passenger during travel on BRT Trans-Peshawar bus service on Sunday. A passenger suffered injuries in the fight while the passenger’s father accused the BRT guard of thrashing his son without any reason.
On the other hand, a spokesman for the Trans-Peshawar BRT claimed that the incident occurred when the security guard asked a young passenger to wear a mask as per the company’s guidelines and policy to follow the SOPs.
The spokesman said, ‘the passenger first attacked the security guard. According to Trans Peshawar CCTV footage, the boy started insulting and punching the security guard.’
‘All passengers are respectable but all passengers must abide by the rules and regulations of the organization,’ he further added. Passengers should not insult the BRT staff at all, and in case of any complaint the passengers must call the helpline number of BRT Peshawar, said the spokesperson.
