ISLAMABAD – Black Box Sounds and Alliance Française have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to boost cultural exchange and artistic collaboration.
The ceremony was held in Islamabad, and was graced by distinguished delegates from the European Union, underscoring the importance of cultural diplomacy in bilateral relations.
Among the notable attendees were Piotr Buszta, First Counsellor and Head of Political, Trade, and Communication Section of the Delegation of the European Union to Pakistan, Fabrice Disdier, Director of Alliance Française Lahore and Coordinator of Alliance Française Pakistan, and Zarmeena Nayyer, Lead for Culture and Public Diplomacy at the High Commission of Canada.
Tauseeq Haider said his team is excited about the prospects of this partnership with Alliance Française as two sides aimed to create meaningful opportunities for artists and cultural practitioners.
Ali Bhatti of Alliance Française Islamabad emphasized the shared vision of cultural enrichment. “This collaboration marks a significant step towards strengthening cultural ties and nurturing creativity in Pakistan. We look forward to exploring new avenues of cultural expression and engagement,” he said.
The partnership is expected to facilitate joint projects, workshops, and exhibitions that celebrate Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and contemporary artistic innovations.
