The cryptocurrency market turned to profit-taking activity on Thursday and the market capitalisation decreased by 1.7 percent to $1.94 trillion as of 1225 hours GMT. The price of Bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocurrency, reached $44,734 after shedding 2.59 percent.
With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of the BTC has reached $840.2 billion.
Likewise, ethereum (ETH) price shed 3.61 percent to reach $3,100. With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of ETH has reached $362.8 billion.
On the other hand, XRP gained 10.86 percent to reach $0.976. The market capitalisation of XRP stands at $97.6 billion after this increase. However, Cardano (ADA) price reached $1.77 with 0.09 percent decrease in its price. Its market capitalisation has reached $57 billion after this decrease.
On the other hand, Dogecoin (Doge) price appreciated by 0.54 percent to reach $0.268. With this increase in price, the market capitalisation of Doge reached $35 billion.—TLTP
