ISLAMABAD – Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), highlighted the importance of PPP’s success in the upcoming Feb 8 polls as a significant step towards ending oppression in Kashmir.
He emphasized the necessity of national unity, devoid of hatred and conflicts, for the Kashmir cause and its pursuit of freedom. Bilawal drew parallels to the vision of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and underscored PPP’s historical commitment to advocating for the rights and independence of Kashmiris, initiated by Shaheed Bhutto.
Bilawal commended his mother, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, for instituting Feb 5 as the day for solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir. He pledged to continue the legacy of his grandfather and mother by actively championing the Kashmir cause.
He affirmed his dedication to raising global awareness about the Kashmir situation and vowed to end the atrocities faced by Kashmiris once assuming the role of prime minister. Bilawal paid heartfelt tributes to the martyrs of Kashmir, honoring their sacrifices.
