Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday expressed his intention to contest the upcoming general elections from Lahore. The PPP chairman obtained nomination papers for the NA-128 constituency in Lahore, and their submission awaits approval from the PPP’s parliamentary board.
The PPP leaders encouraged Bilawal Bhutto, who also acquired nomination papers for the NA-194 constituency in Larkana, to contest the elections from Lahore. Bilawal’s decision to contest elections from Lahore was celebrated by the party leaders at a gathering in Gulberg. The celebrations took place at the residence of Hafiz Ghulam Mohiuddin. PPP leaders including party’s Lahore President Chaudhry Aslam Gill, Hafiz Ghulam Mohiuddin, Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman, Naveed Chaudhry, Manzoor Anjum, Amir Butt, Dr. Rafique, Aziz-ur-Rehman Chan, Adeel Mohiuddin, Naveed Chaudhry, Iqbal Khan, Hafiz Hamza, Saqib Butt, Malik Ashar, Muhammad Saeed, and others were present at the event.
