ISLAMABAD  –  Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that despite strongly advising PTI against leaving the assembly,  they are facing the consequences, and so is the country today.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari urged PTI to fight Imran’s case but first return to the parliament and serve the people.

Speaking in the National Assembly, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari remarked that observing their conduct, these youngsters would never want to become politicians.

Bilawal said,  “We have turned politics into an insult, yet it is through politics that we must provide employment to the youth, and we must fulfill our responsibilities. If a Chief Minister stands at a rally and insults the government and judiciary, he cannot provide employment to the people of his province.”

He further added that the founder of PTI created a toxic environment.

“If a Chief Minister hurls insults in rallies instead of solving public issues, then he is only playing politics,” said Bilawal.

The government had set a target to reduce inflation to twelve percent within a year, and it has already decreased to nine percent before the year is over.

The PPP Chairman said that PTI’s chairman has been in jail for a few months, and PTI should fight their chairman’s case in the courts while serving the people here in the parliament.

“Politics has deteriorated to the extent that we are now unwilling to even shake hands with each other,” he remarked, expressing disappointment over Mengal’s decision.

Bilawal reiterated that PTI was repeatedly advised not to leave the assembly, and now they are suffering, as is the country.

“PTI should fight Imran’s case but first come to the assembly and serve the people. If the government continues engaging in conflicts and adding fuel to the fire, how will the country function?”

He suggested forming a committee comprising members from all political parties.

“Both sides will hold rallies, but a parliamentary committee should be established to address the issue,” he added.
